{50's sOck hOp}

The Activity Day Girls had a mother and daughter Sock Hop! It was a rockin' and a rollin'! Everyone was asked to dress up - poodle skirts, dark denim jeans and white t-shirts, saddle shoes. I spent the afternoon making us skirts. I'm not fast enough to have embellished them, but that is fine by me! Elvis greeted us at the door. We played musical chairs. Ally won! We danced/learned the Electric Slide. We Limboed and we danced some more. Plus we took pictures (I'll have to get them from my neighbor) and ate ice cream sundaes. What a fun way to spend an evening with my Ally.
