{cOw kiLLeR}

We have a cow killer in our midst! There is this little toy cow that has been nicknamed, "the Guard Cow." It has stood watch over our front yard for about a month now. Chris has tried to give it back to it's rightful owner, telling anyone who lives by us with little kids, " I think your cow is in our yard!" Which always gets an interesting response.

This cow is hilarious. It is always in a different part of the yard, on the steps, by the front door, on the sidewalk, and it is always sitting upright. No matter who walks by it, child or adult, if it is knocked down they will sit it back up.
Imagine our surprise when we go to church Sunday morning to find our cow frozen in a block of ice! Of course, we all laughed hysterically and speculated who might have done it. Everyone thought for sure it was our neighbor 2 houses away. Although I kept saying, "Wouldn't it be even more funny if it wasn't him?"

Chris & Sammy came up with the idea to do a WANTED poster. Sammy made her poster. On her way to school this morning she put it up on the neighbors front door.
Several hours later, I get a call from this said neighbor. "Do you have some graffiti artists over there?" He swears he did not do it. Do I believe him? ... hmmm... I told him it was either you or our neighbor next door. He claims it had to be him. So we moved the poster to his house...... update (evening of putting up the wanted poster) - the cow is now missing. Just up and walked away this morning. I don't think Sam is very happy about it!!! Oh, and no, none of my neighbors have admitted to doing it yet and yes, Sam has asked just about all of them. Ask might be a light term, accused would be more like it!
